From the untouched bays of Datça to the world-famous winds of Prasonissi. Seven days of world-class spots, secluded anchorages and daily coaching. Far more than a surf trip.
Every detail is planned, from life on board to daily coaching, so you can focus entirely on the session. The yacht carries the kitchen, the crew and the kit, and moves between spots while you sleep.
Each destination has its own character, each session its own conditions, and every day brings a new horizon.
The line below is the sailing track, not a straight rule between ports: it runs around the islands the way a boat does, and every distance is measured along it.
| Leg | Distance |
|---|---|
| Datça → Symi | 10.0 nm |
| Symi → Halki | 31.7 nm |
| Halki → Rhodes | 36.4 nm |
| Rhodes → Prasonissi | 52.2 nm |
| Total | 130.3 nm |

The untouched bays of the Datça peninsula, and the point every safari starts and clears from.
The colourful harbour of Symi, and the first of the island anchorages.
A timeless atmosphere, hidden bays and the quiet end of the Dodecanese.
The historic streets of Rhodes, and the run down the island towards the southern tip.
World-famous winds, and the session most of this week is built around.
* The order and the daily plan follow the conditions. Day-by-day programme to follow.
Seven days from Datça to Rhodes, with the yacht as the base. Each destination has its own character and each session its own conditions — where you ride is set by the wind that morning, not by a printed schedule.
Four ports, two countries, six people at most. A skipper and a private chef on board, coaching on the water every day, and no morning that starts where the last one ended.
Coaching runs daily, on the water and off it. Conditions and spots are planned around the forecast, not around a fixed schedule.
Ismail Baykurt is a captain, sailor and adventurer who has called the sea home for more than a decade. Since 2013, he has lived full-time aboard his boat, making life at sea not simply a passion, but a way of living.
Ismail has spent years working as a professional skipper across Croatia, Greece and Turkey, with a particular specialization in multihulls. He has transferred boats across the Mediterranean and sailed extensively throughout the region, building his experience around different boats, coastlines and conditions.
For Ismail, sailing is about more than navigating from one place to another. It is about freedom, movement and the constant possibility of discovering somewhere new. An adventurer and world traveller at heart, he follows the wind wherever it takes him.

Surf Safari is designed for small groups, to protect the quality of the coaching and the experience on board. As the group grows the cost per person comes down while the week stays the same.
Less people. More wind. Tell us where you are on the kite or the wing and roughly when you want to sail. We get back to you as soon as we can, with the dates and the details. No payment at this stage. We would rather talk first.
