A training block at sea

Turkey's first boat-based, multi-discipline experience platform. We use a sailing yacht as a floating base. A new bay every day, a new view every morning.

About

Buse İnceler is a sportswoman, sailor, skipper and the founder of Windbase. With a background in professional sailing and experience across different sailing yachts, she has built her life around the sea, movement and exploration.

Her passion for sailing extends beyond the boat, into cycling, running and discovering new landscapes through sport. At Windbase, she brings these worlds together, creating a platform where sailing, wind sports and outdoor experiences meet.

For Buse, the sea is not simply a destination, but a way of moving, connecting and exploring.

About

Sina Kural is an athlete and psychologist by profession, a former national windsurfer and the co-founder of Windbase. He raced in the RS:X class for the Turkish national team between 2008 and 2010, after years of competing on the domestic windsurf circuit. The wind came first; everything since has been a variation on it: windsurf, then kitesurf, then the disciplines that took him inland.

He spent 2011 to 2017 in Whistler, Canada, riding through the winters, and studied in Vancouver before completing a master’s in Counselling Psychology in Toronto. Since 2020 his focus has moved to road cycling and triathlon, to what long, repeated hours do to a person rather than what a single explosive moment does.

At Windbase he shapes the brand, the partnerships and the story: how a group is built, how a day is paced, and what a route asks of the people on it.

For Sina, endurance is not a test of limits, but a way of paying close attention.

About

For Orhan, the best rides are the ones that take you somewhere: over a climb, down an unfamiliar road or simply further than you planned. Based in Fethiye, he knows the local roads and landscapes from countless hours in the saddle. At camp, he leads from the road: setting the pace, reading the group and making sure the hard kilometres are also the memorable ones.

About

Kaan Eryürek is a professional advertising photographer and a multidisciplinary digital artist. His work is made of images and the rest of his time is made of movement. He is working to build the visual world of Windbase.

Long-distance trekking and mountaineering are his own ground. He has put away a lot of trail, camp and altitude over the years. On top of that he serves as a specialist search and rescue responder with several NGOs.

In everything else he sees himself as an amateur, and his curiosity never runs out.

Whenever he can, the sea or the mountains. Usually both.

About

Çiğdem is a marketing professional who spends most of her time turning ideas into experiences — and most of her free time moving through nature.

She has spent years running, hiking and cycling, always finding a different way to explore the outdoors. Trails, long runs, mountains and the occasional bike ride are where she feels most at home.

Professionally, she works in strategic marketing, building brands and experiences that bring people together. At Windbase, she brings that perspective to the table — connecting the idea, the experience and the story behind it.

She is curious by nature, always looking for the next trail, the next adventure or simply a new way to see things. When she's not working, you'll probably find her somewhere outdoors. Preferably somewhere with a good view.
